Much easier with a Hickman Qwerty no needles to contend with its just being careful it doesn't get infected. Hope she's doing ok is this her first Chemo ? Just back from first Hospital quick cup of tea and a sandwich then off out again in few minutes , a case of a run round the table and out the door 😀😃

No it's not Oma she had chemo before her mastectomy and chemo after she got it in her lungs but had to stop it when they found a tumour in her brain, so she had to have radiotherapy and now she's back on her chemo ☹️

Very tough living with that Querty, hope they do manage to stop the cancer spreading.

We had a lovely day out at the new ForestShow. We've been going almost every year since we moved to this area over 30 years ago, and although it changed over the years - it's more commercial and more organised - I still enjoy it. I did some really exciting shopping - some cooling lotion for my DS's dog's itchy tummy, a new squeaky toy for Eva, pasties for our tea and some gluten-free cake mixes!!!

Good morning. Overcast here, too. I bet Gem is looking out on an endless blue sky, sparkling blue sea and enjoying her morning coffee on the terrace! Not jealous, Gem, honestly!!

I've got a day with no commitments (so ar!), so I'm going to potter round a bit and maybe do a few of the dreaded chores. Have a good day everyone.

Morning ladies wet and dull , just gave Storm some raw chicken he took it into garden and buried it in the gravel so I took it out again and he kicked up a right stink howling and grumbling at me , he's now wandering around with it in his mouth looking for another hiding spot , stupid dog it's manky now and he will eat that yuk . Good morning. Very warm and humid here but dull. Just back from the dentist after a couple of days with a throbbing tooth . Had an ex ray and as expected I have an abscess. So now armed with antibiotics and hopefully it will be fine before we go away next week. Fingers crossed.

oma, our DDs dog loves his raw food, just to,see him munching chicken necks, etc gives me the willies (oh and he eats those too!). 😆.

Hahaha it's horrid isn't it Enfys 😀we have to be so carefully what he eats as like all Huskies he gets upset stomach easily, but he loves his raw chicken , just the thought turns my stomach

My friend is back in hospital. Came home Wednesday a couple of hours after her operation. Collapsed during the night, so readmitted yesterday. Her blood pressure was too low, so she had blood transfusion last night and one this morning.
Just spoken to her, says she might be out tomorrow.

Oh dear I hope she is home soon and recovering.

I am posting a picture of the cake I made in my new oven (apart from the light fitting the only good thing about my new kitchen). It is Sadie's birthday on the 12th but they are going on holiday on the 7th and birthday party was today. She asked for a Rainbow Dash cake and, thanks to the Internet, I managed to make something I hope she liked. I cannot say she did or didn't as I took it over there and she wasn't there, nor was mummy, and I haven't heard anything from anyone. There were going to be 14 X 5/6 year olds at the house and husband and I decided that 14 little girls, who are usually given to screaming, were not our cup of tea on a Friday afternoon.

Sorry to hear about your friend Nan2 hope all will be well, I visited along with two other friends my friend that is ill, I took a lasagne and the others took accompaniments think she enjoyed the company but I have seen her looking better, it's her birthday next Thursday so left presents with her meeting for lunch in the 15 th all been well, she showed us her dress for renewing her vows in September it's a coral lace number it was beautiful but we felt sad too
Zizi the cake looks really good it was my G/d birthday yesterday she was 6 and all she wanted was a castle cake with Rapunzel on lol

My friend rang ½ hour ago,she is fed up and wants to go home. Says she is feeling a bit better.
