Not ironing day in this house, we have this great big hot flat thing with a water catcher on the bottom but it never gets used here, and anyway I am scared of it as it hisses and peeps a lot...........
I couldn't find the IT thread - strange, here I am on a seven/eight year old enormous laptop and can see my signature, change fonts, colours and sizes AND do smilies but cannot do any of that on my work laptop (dinosaur material) or my hipad. Very frustrating. I also would like to know how to make an album which my friends or subscribers (?) can see but other people cannot. I would like to do that on my hipad so you can all come on holiday with me
Can one of our lovely admin please let me know how to do the above please. If it isn't possible I will have to post of Granny Support FB but I would rather post on here.If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together

Lots of organisations strip functions out of work computers/laptops. I'm never sure whether it's to reduce drains on memory or processing or whether it's to deter fun and games on the computer.

Nanto2girls - good morning! It sounds like another busy day for you, but I'm glad your mum is ok. I bet she'll be glad to be home.
That's a very exotic looking coffee pot - can I have just a plain black please?"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Nanto2girls that's good news about your mum and I will also have a coffe with milk please.
We had a new BT phone directory delivered today. We never use it, we just take the cellophane wrapper off the new one, replace it with the old one on the telephone table and put the old one in the recycling bin. It will sit there for 12 months unopened, never used. What a waste of money . To be honest I can't even read the small print in the directory , I use the internet to look up numbers I needBring me sunshine in your smile.

I hope you enjoy the film and meal out Plant. I want to see that as well.
Good to hear your MIL is doing well nan2.
Its all happening isn't it Oma?!! I hope your headache goes soon.
I am going to the Drs tomorrow, something I rarely do! After having a chesty cough with lots of wheezing etc for over a week and generally not feeling well, I decided I should go. I am always getting grief from OH for not going! I avoid antibiotics, but I think they may be needed. I wheezed and coughed through most of December and early January, had a few weeks respite, then back again!
A new body, or a lovely holiday lying on a sunbed in the warm sun with a full Kindle, either would suit me“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Had the twins out in the car for the first time today got permission If I have to walk round our local park one more time I will turn into a tree, went to Temple Newsam Gemini knows it its our local stately home even got the pram through the cafe door so was able to have a coffee and cake!!!!!. The trip was a regimental precision job, twin pram in boot in 3 pieces one baby in each car seat all strapped in bag with nappies, water, dummies, spare dummies, melon pieces then all out again at Park, back in again to go home We promise to do better next time but G/D slept through the whole manouvre and G/S was awake but think he knew it was better to keep quiet lol I do believe that the children will think they are celebrities the audience they command!
