Oh poor you, burns are miserable aren't they? When we had the shop (many moons ago) I bought a cafetiere from a shop in the high street, I suppose we would call it a pound shop today (although it cost more than a pound), I put the coffee and boiling water in, left it for the required time and plunged it and the Bruddy water came up and over the top. It was winter and I was wearing a big jumper which was soaked in very hot water. Huge blister on my arm. Husband was furious and took the jug back to the shop and got a refund and insisted that they took the stock off the shelf. Another time, and Libra in your job I am sure you haven't done this, I put a frying pan in the oven to crisp an omelette and forgot to use a cloth to lift it out. OUCH is what I said, well I thought, not what I said.

Hope your burn is better soon. X

So ladies at 10.30am tomorrow I am on a mission. Mission to get through two days of meetings and speeches. 12 noon meeting in Euston, 2pm, check into hotel at Lancaster Gate, 3pm meeting with colleagues 40 minutes tube ride (going to get a cab) with three speakers. 4.15 register at AGM of charity I am seconded to. Speeches, speeches, speeches. Hotel about 11pm. 8am next day picked up for "All Staff conference". speeches, speeches, speeches. Leave at 3.30pm. I know my colleagues will expect me join them for drinks etc, but I will come straight home. Not looking forward to the next two days I have to admit.

Mimi - I do hope your head is soon better.

Zizi - I'd rather you than me. It sounds an awful lot to cram into two days.

Good morning . I lost a day yesterday, within half an hour of waking up had the dreaded flashing lights and sick feeling so ended up back in bed with the curtains drawn and slept the morning away. Don't often get migraines but when I do they really hit hard. Felt better later in the day and managed to pop on here quickly for a peek and FB too but didn't want to risk it all starting again. Will make up for it today. I've sent a few friends requests, using the subscribe feature so hope it works . Mind you, I think we're all friends already, aren't we, that's what it feels like
