Oma, you busy lady, taking on decorating again, I can’t stand an upheaval so don’t decorate very often. I have a large SR with large furniture so not an easy operation.

Lizzie, I hope the family enjoyed their holiday in the UK.

Sunny here now too Nan2. There was a LOT of rainfall! OH's own course is closed due to flooding but presumably the one they are playing at is open . They haven't arrived back so I'm guessing so!

Both GSs arrived at 11. The little one very excited to be here with his cousin He is having his afternoon nap now.

Hallo everyone, Plant, DS1 and family loved their holiday, only Bournemouth wasn't as it was 16 years ago!

It is very humid here, no sun but still 27 degrees.

Oma, be careful with the decorating.

Gem, you will enjoy having both GS's at your house.

Next doors GS came to the door yesterday with a bag full of plums!!! He has just bought his first home, a huge garden full of fruit trees, he said " I heard from my nan that you make lovely jam!" I told him I would if I had the jars! He went back next door and came back with a few jars so I made him his "Jam"!

I didn't go to the circuit training yesterday, so hot and muggy in the space, I went to the gym at the same time then had coffee with the others, it is a really nice group of people, we get on well! The lady instructor was doing her last Wednesday lesson yesterday, she and her DH opened the gym, maybe 35 years ago, maybe longer, they sold it all a few years ago but still work there, now they are just doing a few days, she is doing circuit on a Monday and Friday so we have a new instructor next week. We had a collection for them both between us and have treated them to a meal in the newly opened restaurant, the manager is the son of one of the ladies in our group so she arranged it all.

Another hot day here in South Wales. I went for a short walk about 9 am and it was a bit overcast and with a cool breeze .As soon as I reached the middle of the path across the golf course the clouds cleared and a hot sun appeared.I wish we could have a shower in the night for the sake of the garden. My outside tap is broken so when the sun goes off the
plants I ‘m back and forth to the water butt filling up watering cans!

My DD has a short play being performed at the Edinburgh fringe starting today. I ‘m going down to hers in a couple of weeks to hold the fort while she goes up to see it.
My GD is also going .to Edinburgh to perform in a University play
I don’t know where all this thespian talent comes from. Certainly not me 😀

GS3 is coming for a while again today ,not sure for how long. I have a massage early afternoon so if he is still here when I have to leave OH will take over.
We are going to friends after tea tonight for a catch up.

Fish and chips is a good idea on a hot day like today means no cooking for you 😁

Well I’ve Emulsioned the sitting room , washed my curtains they out to dry ,
put furniture back for now , pictures etc will go up later.

We have to go to B&Q for wallpaper paste and we are getting rid of the fire place we want one of the wall hung flush fires so going to have a look for them.

Ive had a shower as I ache everywhere.
It's starting to get hot so I’m pleased I was up early and got it all done .

Been to B&Q and popped into M&S for a take away curry for tonight , to tired and hot to faff on making one.

Came back and my neighbour who has mental health problems is kicking off in the street .
Accusing people of being in her house , she accused me of going in and turning her washer off last week ,
As you know B is laid back but he went off on her .

He stands outside with the window cleaner when he cleans her windows as she sends him inappropriate texts
so he’s terrified of her and what she could accuse him off .
They were standing chatting when she came out and said to B have you been in and turned my washer off, B said why would I be in your house so she then said well it must be J(me ),
B wasn’t having that and warned her to watch her mouth.
Shes fought with all the neighbours this week , obviously off her meds . She’s back in with the happy clappers church and they tell her they can cure her with prayers so she stops her meds , then when she’s taken into hospital they all disappear again .
Her Mam has tried warning her but she won’t listen.
