Just back from the hospital, mam been admitted.
Same thing as the other week,atrial fibrillation activity.
Very slight though,so the pacemaker has done its job again.
They were going to take her to cardiology,but she perked up, so she is on the Acute Medical Unit.
I've go a hospital appointment in the morning,so we will pop in and see her then.

Must try to catch up on here.

All good with mum today and I got all the gardening done which I planned to, and her full green garden waste bin out ready for collection in the morning.
I need to help her in the house more I think. I want to but she usually won't let me. She has said a couple of times lately that she can't live alone any more . She seems to have vague idea they someone will come and live with her!! I think it it basically too much to time to think and no energy to do all that needs doing. I am going to tackle things bit by bit, and OH says she will help me.

I hope Daisy has enjoyed her day on the water!

Oh dear - three rather frail mothers/MILs. It's a worry, isn't it. I hope Nanto's is home soon, and Oma's was ok. Gem - it must be frustrating for both you and your mum when she sees jobs that need doing, but can't manage them herself. I know you do an awful lot but have to try to do it without her seeing. So difficult. I think you're right - we both are short on holidays this year!

Clover I hope your trip to the hairdressers went ok - the film sounds good. Not long till you go to see DD and family. <<hugs>>

Plant - how lovely that your little GGS comes and chats like that. It's such a lovely age. How are your eyes? Sorry if you've said and I've missed it.

Libra - ouch I bet your chin hurt. How was T when your OH visited? I can really understand why you prefer two-weekly visits. It's a long journey and traumatic for you. xx

Gem - how did S get on playing golf for the first time? I hope she didn't overdo it.

Our day on the ocean waves was great - I've written about it in the Days Out thread, and I'll put some photos up tomorrow.

Daisy OH got on quite well thanks. She said she couldn't hit the ball across water and didn't try. She played 6 of the 9 holes though and although frustrated at not being able to do things she normally could, she was happy to at least be out there again.

Got my gynaecology appointment at 10, so should work out ok for seeing mam.
Visiting on the ward she is on is from 11.

Good morning, Nanto and all who follow, and to those bright and cheery chicks.

I've just checked the calendar and it's definitely 7th June, but looking out of the window it could be 7th November! Pouring rain and very chilly. Weren't we lucky to have such a good day for sailing yesterday - we certainly wouldn't be going out in this!

We're having an extra Cooper day today, although I think both dogs are shattered! But DS2 took a day off work to dog sit for us yesterday, and we can't have either dog or girls on Monday because of OH's hospital appointment, so we offered to have Coops today. I'll be back later.

Nanto - I hope your gynae check up goes well. These appointments seem to come round so quickly don't they. I'm sure mum will be pleased to have an early visitor.

Gem - I hope S is taking things easy today after managing 6 holes yesterday. I'm sure it was frustrating not being able to take some shots but everything's going in the right direction, thank goodness. xx

GS2 today, GD from school. I feel quite sorry for their dad. It was his birthday yesterday, DD is in Monte Carlo for work and his parents are on holiday in Greece. I'm sure he will have a belated celebration at the weekend though.

Raining stair rods here, in for the day according to the forecast , we need some hot sunny weather. Nothing much planned just into town for bits and pieces, hubby has an appointment at spec savers. They have just opened a branch in Totnes which sadly will damage the independent but expensive opticians that is already there. Spectacles are a ridiculous price aren't they but a necessary evil.

Just a quickie as I have two medical appts this morning, one at the warfarin clinic and one with practice nurse for the injection for my bones if my bloods she took are okay. The I have to go to JL and Waitrose for food. It looks like Autumn here too.

Sorry about your mother-in-law Nanto, not pleasant for her, she will be pleased to see you.

What a lot of early birds you are! We are forecast rain all day but no sign yet.
Nothing exciting happening here today. I may have to pay a garden centre a visit to liven up my day. I do need to go in to town but the very thought fills me with despair, so I’ll leave that until another time.

My appointment went well. Don't have to go back until a year. Yay.
Went to see ma,she's back to her old self.
She has a curvature of the spine,and they think that is causing all the problems now.
They are keeping her in for tonight and are going to monitor the pain.
