This is a story but intended to help young people spot when their friends may be pushed into a forced marriage and explains what is likely to happen and what can be done to help the children involved. It also gave some reasons why the families might feel obliged to use their daughter's in this way. Well written and hard hitting but certainly gave me a lot to think about!

My concern would be that girls (and a few boys) are removed from their homes aged about 14. By highlighting this it could lead to much younger children being involved.

I would really love to become involved with the book club but I take so so long to finish a book you would all be reading July's choice before I gave you my feedback,I used to read every single night prior to going to sleep but now I am unable to get comfortable enough to read since the broken shoulder and arm,but I do think I shall find a copy of the book you spoke about Shemadee it sounds very interesting indeed.
