I've got "Twas the nightshift before Christmas" on my Kindle but haven't read it yet. The first one "this is Going to Hurt" was, as Grauntie said funny, thought-provoking and ultimately sad as I felt it was a pity such a good, conscientious doctor had left the profession he'd trained to hard for.

I read this over Christmas. It was quite short, and concentrated mainly on Adam Kay's work as a gynaecologist/obstetrician. There was the same mix of funny stories and some sad ones. No spoilers - so I won't say any more.Originally posted by Daisy View Post
