Wasn't sure if I wanted to see that Gemini but I do like Eddie Redmayne so perhaps I will

Gem - was it "Lion" that Clover saw? I've heard it's very good.
I can be excused from this thread - I haven't been to see a film since we started it. It's just something we hardly ever do. The last film I saw at the cinema was Carz2 (with GS2) about 5 years ago."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

We never go to the cinema so I can't add anything unfortunately. The last film DH and I saw together was Titanic. I did take GS to see on of the Harry Potters when he was about 12. - he's 19 now!! But we do enjoy watching films on TV.

Went to the cinema yesterday didn’t know what to see so went for the film that fitted in with us time wise, Geostorm a mans film but I loved it , all about a satellite put up in space to keep an eye on the extreme weather tsunamis and such, it was sabotaged and country by country it was killing them India had extreme winters where people froze where they stood and in Russia everything melted and people were dying of heatstroke, marvellous film go see it if you can loads of action quite partial to Gerard Butler too 💕

I fancied the AA Milne film, but didn't get to see it.
We saw Victoria and Abdul recently and enjoyed that. Hoping to see Murder on the Orient Express on Friday. Judi Dench and Johnny Depp, it has to be good ☺“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Clover we haven't seen anything we want to see on the Silver Screen for some time now. I look every week but nothing sounds very interesting at the moment.
The child in me is looking forward to seeing the new Paddington film . I also plan to see Victoria and Abdul, Murder on the Orient Express and there is a film called 'Breath' , I think I have got the title correct , I will check on that later.Bring me sunshine in your smile.

We started going to see films regularly during the afternoon and having lunch or dinner, sort of “date” days but havent done it recently mostly because of work both his and mine. For some reason I don’t fancy the Victoria and Abdul one, I think I am Victoriad out. I don’t fancy the Paddington one as I thought the face looked a bit creepy. Last film we saw was Another Mother’s Son which was about a woman in Jersey who looked after a Russian boy soldier during the war and ended up dying in Belsen. At the time if the film was said to be the only British person to have been sent to the concentration camps but since then it has emerged there were a couple more who were taken for similar reasons. It wasn’t exactly a cheerful film I have to say but it was well acted. I don’t fancy the Orient Express film either. I am becoming a misery guts......
