Glamm - that's an interesting thought. I had always thought he was rather bland, nice voice but not much personality (also ducking behind sofa), but last night he seemed more 'human'. I think he has always had a jazz influence in his music but the songs that made the big hits for him were straight ballads. It was nice to see more of the jazz element.

We caught the tail end of the programme and thought he seemed as DH said "a nice chap" , good voice too and I loved his version of Feeling Good, (but I still prefer Nina Simone's).

Such sad news, Michael's eldest son Noah aged 3 has been diagnosed with cancer.
He and his wife have put their careers on hold to be with their son.
My thoughts are with all of them at this sad time
