I watched the last song, not his usual crooning style, he was jumping around the stage with a microphone on a stand. Sorry Qwerty

Plant - I suppose he was Feeling Good! (Ladies, that was the title of the song, if you didn't see it)

I hope Qwerty was watching it and enjoyed it.

For MB fans - he's the subject of Desert island Discs tomorrow morning (Friday) - 9.30 (I think) on Radio 4.

Am I wrong in thinking he is not as charasmatic as he once was (ducks under sofa with cushion) ??

Glamm - that's an interesting thought. I had always thought he was rather bland, nice voice but not much personality (also ducking behind sofa), but last night he seemed more 'human'. I think he has always had a jazz influence in his music but the songs that made the big hits for him were straight ballads. It was nice to see more of the jazz element.

We caught the tail end of the programme and thought he seemed as DH said "a nice chap" , good voice too and I loved his version of Feeling Good, (but I still prefer Nina Simone's).

Such sad news, Michael's eldest son Noah aged 3 has been diagnosed with cancer.
He and his wife have put their careers on hold to be with their son.
My thoughts are with all of them at this sad time

Mimi, that is what I came to this thread to post about. So sad Wishing them all the best for successful treatment for little Noah.
