We have now finished The Crown. No more of those until 2022 it seems.
I have also watched all the available Gogglebox episodes, which were cheering me up and providing laughs.

We have started to watch series 2 of The Bay, which is very good.

Is anyone watching Bridgerton? I hear it is good and we intend to give it a try.

We have yet to watch The Queens Gambit.

I intend to watch The Queens Gambit next I am at the moment watching Damages with Glenn Close as the main character you have to keep up with it though as it goes back and forth with the story.
The 2nd series of The Bay was very good and I shall watch Gogglebox older episodes soon as Gems did I enjoy the humour in those earlier episodes much more than the recent ones.

Apart from too much swearing, I love Gogglebox Glamma!
The Siddiqui's are my favourite family, but I love Giles and Mary, Mary and Marina and Jenny and Lee. I find Mr Malone from Manchester hilarious!

I've got a new guilty secret! But I'll share it with my Granny friends.

This afternoon I watched Cruising with Jane McDonald. I saw part of an episode a couple of weeks ago , but today's was cruising down the California coast, visiting many of the places we've been to there, including SanDiego which is one of my favourite cities. It was pure escapism from a very wet dreary January day. Wall to wall sunshine, fabulous beaches, roller coasters - perfect for the kid in me which hasn't grown up yet!

Yesterday we watched two programmes recommended on Chat by members.

In the afternoon we watched The Dig on Netflix. A new film recommended by Oma. It was very good, and I hadn't watched a film for a while so it was a nice change for a cold Friday afternoon.
In the evening we watched on BBc iplayer the musicals show recommended by Plant. It was excellent. So good to be able see what passes for a live show at the moment.

              Thanks for the recommendations ladies

I watched The documentary about Shannon Mathews yesterday on catch up , did anyone see it ?
A very strange carry on there , I think there was more to it than came out in the press too ,
That little girl will be about 22 now , I wonder what she thinks now .

Daisy I watch Cruising with Jane too ,
Trouble is she gets all the best state rooms and gets tours to places no other tours go so not really true to life for the average Cruiser ,
                  But still good to see

Has anyone watched It's a Sin? About the Aids epidemic in the 80s. So good, so sad and so moving.
Quite graphic in parts so maybe not for everyone.

I binge watched it Gem , I cried Buckets , People were so ignorant in them days , we have came a long way since then ,
I loved it and it was based on a true story , One of the boys on there is in real life living with aids and the lady who plays Jill's mother is apparently the real Jill from the 80's

Yesterday evening I watched White House Farm, I don't know if any of you remember the case where Jeremy Bamber shot his father, mother, sister and his two nephews. Not finished watching it yet. It is a true account of the case, I remember reading about it at the time.

During the night I watched a thing about two Transgender men having babies ,
It looked so strange seeing a man with a beard and a baby bump then giving birth ,

Very strange to see yet so normal at the same time ,
Outwardly all male , no mistaking they were born in the wrong bodies but still female inside ,

One a black man was stopped coming out of a store because they thought he had stuff up his jumper and surrounded by police , he was handcuffed then said to the police he was pregnant and please be gentle , they didn't believe him till one officer pulled his top up and at that moment the baby moved
He said there was a gasp and they quickly removed his handcuffs ,

Must have been so funny to see their faces .
