    They were so much cheaper than new records, weren't they. They never seemed to be on the juke boxes for long, so were still fairy current.

      They were, we lived near a transport cafe at the time and they had a juke box, when they changed them we could buy them.

        Daisy my juke box is a 1971 RoweAMI RI Heritage. My Husband restores them for a hobby. At the moment he’s doing a beautiful one from the fifties I forget which model it is. Mine is all mechanical 60 selection. My Husband only restores Rowe AMI as that was what he worked with when he was working. My eldest granddaughter loves selecting records and usually puts Bob Dylan on for me!!

          Wow, FairyQueen! They are amazing. I wasn't sure what model that is, and I've Googled it. It takes you right back to that era! I swear I can hear it playing!

              Thanks Daisy we love it and luckily my Husband can keep it in pristine condition. The one he has his work shop at the moment is very old.
