I wonder how the poison came to be in a perfume bottle in a bin, though. It just seems so odd.

Has anybody else started watching The Choir - Singing for Britain? I've been a Gareth Malone fan since his very first tv programme - teaching choral singing to teenage boys with no musical background, and he never disappoints!

Working in a virtual scenarios with people in the front-line of the coronavirus pandemic is inspirational.

DD and I have a theory that the perpetrators had two containers of poison disguised as perfume that ,if challenged would pass as duty free purchases. The one the poor lady used was a back up which wasn’t needed and was thus thrown away.
It was a gripping programme but devastating that it was based on a real event.

Clover - what a clever theory. Have you ever thought of writing crime novels?

It was very frightening at the time - I'm sure Enfys will remember how nervous people were and suddenly Salisbury became a no-go area.

I am watching ‘back in time for the weekend’ on iPlayer. It follows how we lived our lives from 1950’s. I’m really enjoying it. So far I have seen the decades 1950s and 1960s. I’ll watch 1970s later today.

Yes Sunshine I enjoyed that programme.

Apart from the odd favourite, I am mainly watching Netflix

Last night we watched The Road To Coronation Street. A drama about the coming to being of the series.
Apparently it was made in 2010. We hadn't seen it before and thought it was very good. On ITV Hub.

Gem - I watched that as well. I did see it back in 2010, but it was interesting to see it again, and I think Tony Warren had passed away after it was first made? Not sure. Some of the cast in last night's programme were so like the originals it was uncanny, especially Pat Phoenix!
