Hahaha, Gem. I presume there wouldn't be a story line if they just got on with being happy.

We don’t watch much on ‘normal’ tv, but like The Repair Job, Sewing Bee and usually record Vera. I used to like Emmerdale but don’t like the last week where they have done Lockdown specials. We watch Netflix, especially dramas, detective stories and I’m also working my way through Call the Midwife right from the beginning on IPlayer. P has Spooks on dvd so he’s watching that."Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

We are thinking of giving Sewing Bee a go as I had heard it was good.
As I actively dislike sewing ( needlework, PE and maths were my hated subjects at school!) and OH is indifferent about it, it wasn't an obvious choice for us.
Willing to be open minded though 😊“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

I think it will be quite close! I think Clare stands a good chance - she usually stays cool and focussed even when things are going wrong. As you say, it's still all to play for."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Yes I have been watching it, very scary for the people of Salisbury. They are going to be doing another series of Alan Bennett's Talking Heads with different actors and two of them are new, should be worth watching. They were recorded recently in the Elstree Studios with the help of the Eastenders team. They were going to run out of dramas during the Lockdown and as it is just the actor in the studio they were able to achieve it. Well worth watching. There are two on Tues at 9pm and another on Thursday at 7.30What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

I haven't watched the Salisbury poisonings but Salisbury is very near to us, so the local news was awash with the events as they happened, and it was quite scary. A bit like the beginning of Covid-19 when everyone was running round wondering what's happening and what the consequences might be. There were lots of rumours and counter-rumours and that awful feeling of possible major disaster looming.

Daisy, there were overtones of the Covid situation we felt.
We have watched it all now. It was good to see the real characters at the end and hear how life had gone for them since the incident.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Only one person died, I'm not sure how much later it was, or if it is the lady you were thinking of Daisy?
Her partner found a perfume bottle in a skip or bin. He took it home and gave it to her, and she sprayed it in her wrists. She became very ill and subsequently died. (Spoiler alert if you are watching this programme!!)
Her partner was very ill but survived as he didn't have the stuff on him. All very sad.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
