Taste in books vary and we can't all like the same things.
It seems Oma, Enfys , Nana and I are captivated 😊

Nan2. My OH has read none of the books and shares your opinion of the films!!

I've always been one to believe that I need some sort of magic in my life. Love fantasy, even the darker stuff as a contrast. Enjoyed, (if you can use that word) Game of Thrones when it was screened. Sorry, I digress.

As an add on... of course HP is real. I actually cried when lovely Dobby died.

We can't get into the Lord of the Rings films either.

I've only read a couple of the books - just never got round to it - yet - but when I saw the first film I was disappointed at the quidditch scene. JK's words were more powerful than the film makers images, and the characters can really fly when she describes them. In the film they just appear to fly!

Books are always more detailed but I loved the films too , Harry's cupboard under the stairs is just how I imagined it .
Poor Dobby I cried too Nana .

I also love the Twilight Saga I watch those over and re read the books several times .

I'm with you Oma. The books are fantastic and have so much more in them than could possibly go into a film. I love the films too, so well done and magical.

I cry my way through many books!

Gem - even though I've only read two of the books, I can see what fun these would be.
