My OH has a laptop, running Windows, and he got a subscription to Office 365 which gives him 5 'copies' of the package. DS1 installed it for him some months ago, and we decided it would be useful to install one of the spare copies on my desktop.
It clearly says is can be installed in a Mac - what could be difficult about that!!
So, two hours later - I've set up a MS Account and gone through various security checks. After a scare on FB a few days ago I changed my email password and installed two-step verification, and I was relieved to see it works! Then MS Installer got all upset because I've got my Mac set to ignore 'unidentified developers'. So I overrode that after a bit of searching. Now it says it's got the MS Office installer package but the file name includes the word 'Part', so I wondered if something was missing. Then I read that the file name can vary slightly. So I don't know if is this a normal variation or hasn't it got the whole Installer file? Are you all keeping up with this? If so, you're doing better than me!!
Of course, it's possible that it is doing the installation but with our lousy internet service it could take days!
As for installing it on my phone or iPad ...... Daisy, just don't go there.

I'm ready to give up!!! Grrrr ........
