In the grand scheme of things he hasn't done a lot of damage , when he was a pup he would eat the post , and he had a good chew on SIL, s Hunter wellies , Ripped the cat flap off getting stuck in it and had a go at the new Astro turf when it went down , but never ever touched the furniture , he has lots of toys he plays with all the time gets plenty of exercise , something must have triggered him , I think I agree with DD he's had a toy on sofa been scratching and managed to tear fabric and done what dogs do had a good chew and pulled more off exposing the foam so had a go at that too . He does tear soft toys up pulls the heads off etc so to him it must have been like having a big teddy to rip up ,

Oma - I love the idea of Storm thinking the sofa was a big chew toy. Well, he is a big doggy - and well named!!!
Eva only has to turn those big, melting brown eyes on either of us and she can get away with anything, although to be fair she's never done any damage."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Eeeeeee Oma, naughty Storm, oh well you cannot get anything bigger than a sofa for a toy.... I can see his "pitiful" wasn't me eyes.....your DD's is so laid back don't know what would have happened here apart from me wanting a new sofa...
Our neighbour has 2 husky dogs there huge....lovely little cute things when she got them, I remember when I first saw them as puppies I wanted one until OH said do you know how big they grow, phew now I am glad he talked me out of it, but do fancy a "pug", I would be the best Grandma ever if I got one of those....How does a child spell Love..........T.I.M.E

My friends dogs are the same, they take her cushions outside with them to play with, she said she has stopped replacing them.........you hear them growling as there playing, there always in the garden, if hanging my washing out or just pottering they stick there heads over the fence and watch, they are lovely, but I have seen when her and her hubby put the dogs in the back of the car to take them out, there so strong, she says they take her for a walk.....How does a child spell Love..........T.I.M.E

Pearl - it's amazing to watch huskies and other sled dogs racing. They're so strong, really fast and tireless. The photo is of a team racing in the New Forest a few years ago. they had little boots to protect their paws.
