Well GOOD NEWS.
I haven't dared post about this earlier for fear of jinxing it, but the family brought home Cavapoo puppy Luna this morning. After the previous upset DD started searching again and found a lovely lady breeder just over an hours drive away. This resulted in a visit to the pup in the week and a homecoming today. DD had explained the circumstances of their previous disappointment. This lady was more than willing to let them have Luna despite Finn's often bizarre comments and questions! The pup is totally adorable judging by the photos and we hope to visit in a few weeks while she is still in the roly-poly puppy stage.Lucy couldn't look any happier as she cuddled Luna. So pleased for them. There are some lovely people around. It was bad luck the family came across a less than nice one.

That's fantastic news Clover. It's lovely when something works out in the end. I bet they're thrilled.
I've not heard of that breed before so I Googled it. Awwww, Clover they're gorgeous.Last edited by Nana; 09-04-2016, 07:24 PM."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Clover - that's wonderful news. Luna sounds totally adorable, and she won't understand your GS's questions or comments - she will just want lots of cuddles and games. Although I suppose she will also sleep quite a lot to start with.
We have just had both GSs staying with us and GS1 spent a lot of time playing with Eva and cuddling her - it seems to make him calmer and less anxious. I'm sure your GS will have a great relationship with Luna.
btw - I love the name Luna.

Awwww - she's super-cute and totally adorable. I bet your GD will love training her and seeing her learn. It's such a pleasure to see a child learning to care for and train a puppy - a very special time. Is she going to take Luna to puppy classes when she's old enough? Lots of vets also run 'puppy parties' to socialise young puppies before they're old enough to mix with the general dog population."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are.
