I love all my cats, they are all lovely. However my heart really belongs to my little tomboy cat. My computer is full of photos of her!
She is a tortoiseshell and white cat, which are known as Calico cats in the states.
She was such a boisterous little kitten especially compared to her delicate ladylike little black and white sister, I actually took her to the vet to check that she wasn't a boy, LOL. He said that breed are almost always female, but checked anyway.
She is so funny and full of personality. She 'talks' to us every time she sees us. She loves people and thinks every visitor is here to visit her. This is quite a problem with anyone who dislikes cats! She 'helps' all workmen, rubbing herself against their hands as they wield the screwdriver![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://gransrus.com/core/images/smilies/rolleyes.png)
She is now 16, 17 in a couple of months time. She can still climb the loft ladder, and loves going up there with OH. She doesn't run up it as fast as she once did, but she still climbs it easily. She is the only cat I have even known who can climb ladders. She can run up the apple tree too.
I love her very much, and she has been with me though so many life changes and events. DD3 was only 11 when we went together to collect her and her sister (also still alive and well)
I know I can't keep her for ever, but life without this lovely creature is hard to imagine.
She became deaf several months ago. I found this very hard at first and of course she must have. She has adapted really well and is as happy, cute, naughty and active as ever!
