This morning OH found a hedgehog in our garden. We know a hedgehog out in the open in daylight is a bad thing. OH tried to phone 2 of our friends who both know a lot about hedgehogs. Neither were in.
She put the hedgehog in a box and eventually got though to one of the friends, who gave her the number of someone who rescues hedgehogs. When she eventually got through it was an answerphone message saying she was so full no more creatures could be taken in.
Then OH spoke to our friend again, who suggested another hedgehog place. The problem was I was having my reflexology treatment and it was getting to time for OH to get to the golf club for a competition.
Our friend very kindly offered to come and collect the hedgehog and take it to the lady who had space.
It is boy hedgehog, very small and dehydrated and and not in a good way. She will do what she can, but he may not survive
We don't think he can be one of ours. Definitely not Hermione who is really big, and OH doesn't think it is the other one either.
Fingers crossed for the poor little guy.
