Awww thank you Oma.
I feel very sad that I can't see mum today. I cannot remember the last time I didn't see her on her birthday, to either take her out or in latter years, here for a meal. She has always set a lot of store by birthdays, and the one year, long ago, when I took her out for meal the day before, she never let me forget that it wasn't on the actual day!!
I dropped off things for her yesterday and DDs are dropping more today. The home have made her a cake. I hope she has a nice day.
At 92 and frail, she may not have another birthday so it's sad we can't see her.
