Eight years ago my precious granddaughter was born. After a difficult and risky pregnancy and long drawn out labour, my main desire was to see my daughter.
Once I had done that, and this tiny dark haired little scrap was put into my arms, I felt my world was complete. I continue to be completely dotty about her

Her 18 month old brother, although he had no idea what it was all about, enjoyed it very much too!!

(She was awarded her red belt in Karate this morning, so an even better birthday )
