Not at all! It's just something I didn't realise. Because I could see it I presumed everyone could

Gemini, I assumed the same thing. There might be a setting somewhere, although I don't recall seeing one.

WeeGranny I love your discription "refugees" I nearly fell off my high rise stool when I read that lol x
I think the site is the best around all I have to do is negotiate the pictures for my profile, can we post pics as we did before in an album type thingy for members to view or am I talking daft and missed something.Every day things are easier to navigate,I'm still keeping my list of new names comparing with old names for my sanity so I can relate to people, which is a bit dopey as they are all virtual names anyway. So WELL DONE admin xx glamma xx

I cannot see who "likes" either! I admit I have found it a bit difficult to find my way around which is odd as I use computers and forums all the time for my job but I have had a particularly busy time recently so maybe more patience is needed from me. I have a list of 183 messages next to my name at the top right hand corner and I don't know how to change it. I know it is things people have written in response to my posts but is there a way of making it look like I am not ignoring 183 people?

Other than that I am getting there and, as with everything, using the forum will make it easier.
              Thank you,

Zizi, if you go into your Message Centre, click on Notifications on the left under your Avatar, then click on the Notification Settings Box and you can change your settings.

I am sure I read on here where you can go to your last unread message on a thread without going from the beginning but can't remember what you have to do

I think you click on your name at the top right hand side and there is a tab that says something like "my posts" or similar. I might be completely wrong of course as I am a bit of a dunce on here sometimes

Thanks Zizi, for that, I didn't know that was there, still finding my way around, it's not what I was looking for but still the same very useful it will be me not explaining properly, I mean when your reading someone's post then want to see other replies but instead of going from the first message all the way through the thread you can just go to the first unread one, eeeeeh hope that makes sense it does to me lol...

Pearl, to the left of the title is a little blue circle. Clicking on that takes you to the first unread post on that thread x

Gemini beat me to it, Pearl. It's the equivalent of 'First Post Unread' on another forum.
