    Inserting photos into posts

This is to upload your own photos from your computer. You can upload 4 at a time (I think - i'll check this)

1 Click on the camera icon, top left of the posting area.

2 This will take you to your photos on your computer.

3 Select the photo you want.

4 It will take a few seconds to upload (depending on the size of the file) and when uploaded you can add a caption to the photo if you wish. I added 'Streptocarpus' but the caption isn't showing.

5 Click on Save. Job done.

I did it a few days ago, but I did have to resize it.

    I used this http://picresize.com/
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nanto2girls, Many thanks for that link - it will be very useful.

There doesn't seem to be any guidance I can find in the software on what size photos should be, and it's on my TO DO list! If you upload via Attachment (first of 3 symbols top right) it gives you an option to choose size. The Thumbnail size is as my photo above. If you're choosing a photo from something like Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket etc they will already be sized for that platform.

At last! Thank you so much! I haven't put any on with the children's faces on - is there a private place for friends to view? also another stupid question from me: if I have accepted friend requests are they mine and I am their friend or do I also have to ask them? UMMM if you see what I mean...... again thanks for the picture ability

Just a point everyone, photos posted into threads can be seen by anyone browsing the forum, so you may not want your GC (or you) on there

Zizi, you can set your privacy levels to Members only Subscribers only for photos in your album. I need to test this out, but I think if we are not subscribed to a member and we set the level to subscribers only they won't see them. I will check this.
To add your photos, go to your profile, and then to media.

Gemini - That's what I understood too, you can set your access to your album to Subscribers (ie equivalent of Friends) only.

If you have photos already in your album you can transfer them to a post,if you wish, but of course they do become public viewing then.

Zizi, are signatures showing on your iPad yet? They are on mine and I haven done anything, so wondering if it could be some sort of setting within your iPad?

Help! Why are my photos appearing upside down? Even when I change them to upside down they're still not right!

Enfys - this has happened to me I think it was photos I'd taken on my iPad.

I solved it by putting them through Photoshop and rotating them and resaving them. Did you take this one on your phone or on a camera?

I'm just going to try a couple of things out and will come back in a minute!

                            Edit:

Sorry, Enfys, I can't solve it at the moment. I've tried taking different photos in different ways including taking landscape photos rotating my phone both clockwise and anti-clockwise. In the meantime, we'll just have to stand on our heads - but I will try and work it out for you.
