Yes I had a few difficulties in the early days but that says more about me than about the site Definitely worth working it out.

Along with everyone else I'd like to offer a huge thank you to Admin for setting up GRU. Just from my point of view this has been a life saver. I don't get out to make friends due to having ME so I feel blessed to have made such good friends on here. There's never any malice or nastiness, just loving kindness & sincere concern. I feel so proud to be part of the Gransrus community. Without this I would be a very isolated & lonely woman. Thank you so much.xx

Aww, that is so nice Mamar*! Online communities like ours play a very important part in some peoples lives. Friends are always here, whether we can get out to meet them or not. I feel all our members genuinely do care about each other, share each others joy, and the pain.
We intend to continue to keep this a supportive, caring place for all our members. Fun is very welcomed, but nastiness is not!

Nan2, I also love our little community! As we know from past forums, a lot of new members will join over time, and many will never post, or post a few times, and disappear. Some will stay and go on to become lively, active valuable members like all of you What I mean is our closeness will remain with a few new friends joining us along the way!

Plant you are so right. I think every one of us found some degree of difficulty in navigating a different site set up. As you say, with practice, as with all things, it gets easier, then natural Thanks for encouraging Teragram.
Lovely post Gemini, and yes, you quite right.

Thank you from me too ladies.Without you we would surely have broken up on the "other" forum. I love the cosiness of our little group and hope new recruits will be of the same mind-set as us.

Nanto - we've booked our Forum mascot, Johnny Depp to cut the ribbon! Or someone else if he's not free.
