Zizi - what a clever oven! I'm afraid mine just turns on and off and even the temperature control isn't very accurate - I usually have to have it higher than the recipe says, but not always, so cooking is always a bit of an adventure.

The ovens are the best thing about the kitchen to be honest. They were expensive but after 17 years of cooking on an an ancient free standing gas cooker they were worth the money. My dil is jealous of the bottom oven as the door slides into it at the bottom. Not really sure of the actual purpose for that but it is quite snazzy! The top oven grills (large and small), warms plates, cooks normally and hot air and is a microwave. The microwave is too clever for its own good and tells you when you have put something in there and whether it is on an appropriate plate and whether it is covered! The main oven has all sorts of settings including pizza setting, bread baking/proving, grill, slow cook and all sorts of Eco heating/warming. Needless to say I have not used them all and the instruction book is nearby at all times.

Mine is a Neff and because there are two ovens I wanted them to say the same time (obviously) and aft a while I sorte it out. I am sure they are all pretty much the same. I can send you the details that I have Plant if you think it might help.

That is very kind of you Tizzy, I have an instruction book but it defeats me most of the time. I have a cooker clock and a kitchen clock so do really need it to tell me the time.

Maybe I am a tiny tad OCD as I don't like the two clocks saying the wrong time. Doesn't send me into spasms though!

Plant - I can't set the clock on my microwave. My old one was very easy, but the clever-clogs one is a pain, so I just switch the time off. I've got the time on the oven and on my kitchen radio, plus an analogue wall clock, so I don't really need it - but the two digital clocks have to say the same time as well, Zizi. The radio one sets automatically after a power cut (we get a lot of them) and I stand at the ready to put the time back on the oven at the exact second that the radio chalks up a new minute! But it doesn't bother me what the wall clock says - OH sets that and I don't mind if it's wrong.

I have the cooker clock and a wall clock so I just ignore the microwave.
