I went shopping in Sainsbury's today and took advantage of the Nectar Rewards Christmas Double up. It's only on until 22 November (Tuesday), but if you have Nectar points you might find some bargains.

I got a Nutribullet for £40, 6 bottles of Sainsburys 'finest' Prosecco down from £10 to £4 each.

Also got some household items, and some Christmas decorations <said with red face, but they were a bargain>

Anyone looking for quality thermals, eg gloves, socks etc e bay has a great selection, all new and free postage. I bought some long Janes (as in long johns) but for ladies, beneficial under jeans for any dog walker, some thermal gloves and socks £12 the lot. Each item was £3.99. Also for any Pandora fans there is a website called Swagg who sell genuine Pandora with free delivery. I bought my friend a lovely princess charm for christmas and while I was browsing treated myself to the Libra charm-well why not it was in their sale £15 so couldn't miss a bargain.Just have to squeeze it on one of my bracelets.

LG - well done - lots of lovely bargains. I find I can't manage ordinary gloves when I'm out with the dog, but my fingerless ones are disintegrating fast. I bought a new pair a couple of weeks ago - the sort that have a little mitten end which you can fold open and closed, but the have a full-length thumb, which means Eva's liver treats make them yucky!

I wasn't sure whether to put this under Crafting or here, but since we all love bargains I thought more people would see it.

If you are looking fore art materials for presents or for yourself, Lidl has a bunch of offers this week.

I got a Charcoal set in a nice wooden box for GS2 (nice to keep messy charcoal all in one place!)

A set of 3 small canvases, plus a pack to two larger ones - I think they were £3.99 each (haven't got the receipt in front of me); a set of 5 x 100ml bottles of acrylic paint (they also had oils and watercolour sets), a little electronic kit for electronics-mad GS1, and 3 sets of water soluble gel crayons for the GDs.

We had actually gone in there for a gadget for OH to do pierced work in some of his wood turning projects!

Yesterday I was browsing through ebay just looking for a pair of classic linen pants for my holidays and came across Littlewoods Clearance Ebay shop they had what I wanted in the correct length 29" for £6.99 reduced from £30+ so I carried on browsing (as you do) and noticed if you bought 3 items you got 3rd free and just one standard posting charge or free if over £50 so I also bought 2 x shorter length dressing gowns both at £7.99 so I got the three for the grand total of just over £18 they have some nice bargains but be warned they do tend to be smaller sizes but I just touched lucky.

My items arrived very quickly indeed but hey-ho they where out of stock on the linen pants in the size I'd ordered so have reordered in the size down and hope with them being elasticated waist they will fit ok When shopping in Liverpool yesterday I popped into M&S to browse their sale and found their Classic Cardigans had been further reduced from £18 to £8 they didn't have the black in my size but bought a camel & burgundy one I wanted a new cardigan to take away with me saving having to pack a jacket for cooler nights out after dinner. They also have good final reductions on 3/4 length sleeved T-shirts which I wear a lot of but none in my size either

Glamm - I always find M&S haven't got my size. I don't know how they work out how many items to get in a store in each size, but they need to take another look at it, I think. I hope the linen trousers fit ok.
