In Mays Gardeners World magazine there is a card giving you 2 for one on adult tickets to many gardens all over the country, Eden Project bring one. It lasts until April 2017.
My daughter bought me a copy, as she saw it in hers.

Even if you are not a gardener it is worth buying this magazine for this offer!

Yesterday I was shopping in Sainsburys and having a look for a few bits and pieces for our new caravan. They had lots of reduced items in the kitchen section - most of which I couldn't see because that aisle was closed off for some reason! But I did get a good frying pan reduced from £24 to £12.

Well you know that OH and me like to do a bit of travelling? We have loads of suit cases and travel bags. About a year after we moved in here 16 years ago we decided to make sure we would do some travelling as we hadn't been able to for years before that because of the business. The kids bought us some really nice leather travel bags, soft brown leather, I don't want to get rid of them. BUT we also have a three piece black set which the handle in the cabin bag is broken because we use it all the time (even for work), a red set which looks terribly scruffy now and another set which is dark green wch has a big gash in one of the cases. So we decided we were going to get a new set of cases and ditch the three old sets.

Husband has discovered the the delights of Groupon and found a really nice set of hard grooved suitcases for £90 with real price being £230. We have chosen a striking blue colour, he vetoed my first preference which was a really nice violet colour and my second choice of fuchsia. I vetoed his choice of boring black and second choice was army type green. That left us with silver, white, yellow or blue. Neither of us wanted white, he liked silver, I liked yellow so we decided on blue.

Zizi - not only was it a good bargain, but you were both very democratic in your choice of colour. Personally I think the brighter the better for suitcases, even though ours are boring black. We always put a colourful strap round them, and I take a photo of them before check in (in case they're lost!)

Molton Brown have 20% off everything until Monday. Free delivery if you spend over £49.
Lovely smellies for my family, and I have made a good saving!

Gem - would that be me, by any chance?

OH called into Superdrug for some of his favourite aftershave yesterday. There was 10% off the price of a nice presentation box of AS and shower gel, with another 10% off if you have a Superdrug card (which I do) He was very chuffed with his bargain!

I love a bargain but if OH finds one he's like the cat that's got the cream. 😉

Ordered 2 pairs of trousers from Bonmarche, which arrived today. they are a lovely fit and nice material. Perfect lenght as well, don't have to shorten them.
They were on offer at £25 for 2 pairs. These are ones i got, in black and navy.

Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nanto - they look lovely - and very practical but smart.

I've never tried Bonmarche - but I'm going to have a browse round later.

Just shortening some trousers, hate it.

Clover - I will have a look. It's hard to find jeans that are a good fit and comfortable, so I shall keep my fingers crossed that Bonmarche are the answer to my prayers.

Plant - it must be difficult to get trouser hems exactly right. I've never tried it, but wouldn't know how to!
