Plant - yes he is. Much more so than me. He always keeps track of the special offers vouchers etc and at the checkout he deals them out like a pack of cards. He even checks the till receipt list because one day he was charged for 78 red peppers instead of 2! He does it very charmingly and always has a laugh and a joke with the person on the till.

I'll hire him out for a small fee!

      78 peppers!!
My dad always kept close eye on the bill when he and mum went shopping, totting it up in is head as he went round. (I haven't inherited his mathematical skill!) Therefore he always knew, within a penny or 2 what the bill should be.
One day, many years ago, he knew it was widely out. When they asked the cashier to check, they had been charged £7 for a piece of cheese which cost 70p! We would be wise to check our bills!

My DH is the same, always on the lookout for bargains and he checks our bill online and invariably we end up with a refund....it makes his day

I always check my till receipt and once noticed I had been charged £4.oo for a jar of salad cream. When I checked at customers services the jar rang up as a pack of light bulbs!! I had a refund but about 3 weeks later when I bought another jar it still showed as light bulbs!! I complained again but how many people had been caught out and not noticed. Be careful girls, you never know what you're paying for

A bit late perhaps, as I saw this yesterday.
I called in to Tesco on my way to my mums to buy her some daffodils. I saw a crowd of people around the flower area. 2 men were repricing Valentines Day flowers and people were eagerly taking them. I bought a big bunch of lovely red tulips for mum, reduced from £5 to £1.25. They had roses for the same price, but they didnt look as if they would last long.

Gem - I bet your mum was delighted with the tulips - they're such cheerful flowers.

After reading Avo's post, I decided to have look on the website, never looked on there before. I ordered 3 items that were in the sale, and 1 that wasn't.
They arrived today, and I am pleased with them all. They are very good quality and fit nice.

Today only Mamas and Papas have several items in their '£29 on the 29th' sale!

I bought a bouncing chair , normally £64 and DD bought a changing bag. It ends at midnight. Worth a look if you have baby in the family, or one coming!

I went to M&S to be measured for a new bras, bought 4 and had £10 off and two more vouchers for 10 pounds if I spend £50, they can also be used on-line. It was a nice surprise
