Thank you for taking on the role of arranging flowers. I was waiting for the majority vote. Although I think flowers are not my first choice, Paul has requested them as he said Tizzy had a great love for them so that is good enough for me to make my mind up. Think it's a wise decision not to go to the funeral especially as it's in an area you don't know.

I will post how much the flowers cost and I am quite happy to wait for the money. I anyone is not keen on contributing to flowers they might like to make a donation to GOSH but that is your choice.

I see the point some of you make about flowers being wasted etc.
I however want lots of flowers at my funeral! Looking at the beautiful flowers on my dad's coffin was a comfort to me.
For my loved ones to be surrounded by beautiful colour and scent is what I would like .

People can still donate to a charity, but I am glad we are sending flowers and adding to the beauty off the day of Zizi's send off .

As I said before Flowers are a personal choice and Tizzy was a lover so im happy with that ,

I don't want any at my funeral maybe a small family posy but I would rather people bought themselves something small to remember me by , or went out and had a drink and a meal .

I would choose "with love and fond memories" for the wording. As to a choice of flowers, Tizzy liked vibrant colours and I think she would approve of seasonal high summer flowers if that is possible.

I don’t want flowers at my funeral, except perhaps a small posy of flowers grown in my garden. I have arranged and paid for my funeral and included in the details is a request of no flowers but if people wish they could make a donation to the NSPCC .
