LG I did similar with rum and coke and I was very sick too. 🤢
😂🤣😂 Thank you Daisy and Gem!
I have had a passion for gin for as long as I can remember. My revered Ma used to drink gin and orange so I suppose that is where I developed the taste. Now I only drink it with Schweppes tonic, ice and a slice. (No ice and slice? Forget the gin I’ll have a whiskey) I tried Feverfew tonic and wasn’t moved to change.
Now, on my bucket list is a gin tasting. Where I’ll find one I do not know, and I can’t afford to set one up myself. I gaze longingly at the rows of artisan gins in Waitrose and wonder how different they taste to Bombay Saphire.... Plant, jump aboard the gin boat and reveal what you know...

I love gin especially the fruity flavoured ones vodka too !!!!!!
you have to drink it GM in a special gin glass and your right not the same without ice , only have a slice when it’s plain gin not fruity , think I will have one or two tonight cheers my dear
DD brought me a bottle of Lassa (?) gin from holiday.Flavoured with strawberries if I remember correctly. It was very nice with a strawberry instead of a slice. But, it's all gone now! I sometimes buy a ready made Fentimann's gin and rose lemonade which is also very nice. And I have a rhubarb and Ginger gin liquer from Scotland on the sideboard waiting for an excuse to be opened!
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

This is my Saturday night special. Gordon’s, you note.
I rather fancy rhubarb gin, not sure about the sweeter ones. Qwerty I’m off to google a gin glass. I have drunk it in many recepticles in the past but not a dedicated gin glass. Cheers Qwerty.
WeeG I like the sound of the gin liqueur. I shall add it to my list.

Well I m gobsmacked at your knowledge of gin, why are you so abstemious when we meet in Birmingham, drinking soft drinks and making me feel like an alcoholic. Enfys was the only one to have a G&T before the meal and then you frowned at me wanting a Brandy after the meal.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
Rhubarb gin is lovely! I had it first at Hotel Du Vin in Harrogate when we had a night away recently.
Gin with cucumber is nice, and lovely with elderflower. You can get tonics with elderflower in now, or just add your own elderflower cordial.

Oh man! Daisy, I’m moving to Birmingham. I didn’t realise such events existed. I have a big birthday this year, and now I know what I’m going to do. 😁 oh I’m so happy. 🍸
