On the news last night the co-op are selling tinned & dry goods that are reaching there best buy date (not use by date ) for 10 pence to save food going to waste just on trial but they hope to roll it nationwide I think it is a good idea will other supermarkets do the same like they have with wonky veg what do you think

They said it was a trial but our CO-OP Garage has been doing this with Crisps , Biscuits, and a few other dry goods for a while now , between 10/15 p .
You see quite a few people with children buying the crisps and Biscuits for packed lunch its better than wasting them .Im not fat just 6ft too small

I think it's a good idea - and just an extension of the practice of selling off fresh good that are on their expiry dates - Morrisons are very good - and I am horrified at the amount of food we as a nation throw away. Anything that helps that and helps families who are really struggling is good."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "
