I am not a very good scone maker, my friend makes gorgeous ones, she says not to work the mixture too much. I have even tried using sour cream in the mixture as some recipes recommend. I get mine from "Mike" the lovely baker behind the counter at M&S he always has some warm fruit ones waiting just for me
When I finish work next week I shall get back to baking some myself however

There's a super little cafe in town. They make the most gorgeous walnut scones (to rhyme with stones😉). Maybe some kind soul could put a scone recipe in our baking section please? Nana one little tip is to make sure the scones start off quite thick,about an inch deep is usually recommended.Comment
