I still haven't made scones - ever! I keep saying I'll have a go, but for some reason they sound difficult!!

I am not a very good scone maker, my friend makes gorgeous ones, she says not to work the mixture too much. I have even tried using sour cream in the mixture as some recipes recommend. Not sour cream it is buttermilk.

There's a super little cafe in town. They make the most gorgeous walnut scones (to rhyme with stones😉). Maybe some kind soul could put a scone recipe in our baking section please? I don't know if I use the wrong size cutter or if it's the mix but they don't seem to gain much 'height'.

Nana one little tip is to make sure the scones start off quite thick, about an inch deep is usually recommended.

Nana - I'd like a really simple idiot-proof recipe as well, if anyone has one.
