I have to tell you that as a child I ate tripe and liver. I didn't think about what they were until I was older. I would never eat tongue though, the look of it on my mums plate made me feel sick! Nor would I ever eat black pudding, as mum told me what it was made of!!

I love black pudding even after my Mum told me what it was made of. At the end of a holiday in France we just about had enough francs left to order a set menu. The meat course was tongue looking and smelling much like an actual tongue. It actually had hairs all round the edge. OH ate his and most of ours but the rest of us went hungry til we got back to the ferry. I still shudder when I see tongue - cooked or uncooked.xx

I can eat black pudding, not very often but hubby refuses point blank to try it.On the odd occasion I do buy it, I try to get it without too much fat.
last night I was reading Yours magazine, and it said in there that black pudding is getting more popular.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
