    Gem, I admit, I've never checked. I just assumed the suet bits were beef, but they could just as easily be vegetarian. I like to open the jar a day before I use it and add some alcohol, just to perk it up a bit.

        That would be nice, Liz, but OH doesn't like amaretto. I usually use whisky or brandy.
