    Food you dislike but eat

The one thing I do not like is Marzipan or anything Almondy and I’m not overly fond of fresh cream unless it’s clotted cream .

When we went to Tesco we bought frozen ready to cook Almond croissants as B likes them ,
Well on the night he decided to cook two ,
When they were cold he filled them with cream ,
He gave me a bite of one to try and I ended up eating the whole one .

It was delicious but at the same time I wasn’t sure about it .
    Strange isn’t it .
I must admit I would eat one again
Is there anything you don’t particularly like but eat?

    Quiche!

We get the frozen almond croissants from Tesco too Oma . Once they sent the Pret ones ( more expensive) as a substitute and they were not nearly as nice.

There are things I never fancy, but find I do enjoy them if I happen to eat them. OH likes a particular honey and mustard salad dressing and sometimes I have it because I'm too lazy to get the mayonnaise out, and I always really enjoy it.

It's the same with crisp green apples .

There are also things I don't like and regret eating them. I had a Twix bar the other day and really didn't enjoy it!

Oma, like you I don't like marzipan or anything almondy, strange thing is I can eat almonds.

I don't like anything that is too sweet, I never have done really, I couldn't face coffee or tea that has been anywhere near sugar.

B loves Marzipan and anything with Almonds in ,
I do like Frangipane and can eat Almonds ,
maybe it’s just the texture and the intense flavour of Marzipan I don’t like 😁

Me too. Best part of a Christmas cake is the marzipan. I'm even thinking of making a Simnel cake for Easter.

Bourbon biscuits. OH loves them but I don't like them but ..... if they are the only biscuits left in the biscuit barrel I will eat one but definitely not enjoy the experience

Thinking of bourbon biscuits being the last ones in the biscuit barrel, strawberry creams are the last chocolates in the box here. Neither of us like them. The GC glady eat them for us

Gem, I'd happily trade your strawberry creams for our coconut Quality Street!
