We had lunch really late, so didn't feel very hungry this evening. We had poached sea bass with a jacket potato which we shared, carrots, peas and broccoli. Quick and easy.

Today I'm going to make a lamb stew in the slow cooker. For some reason this makes me feel like the original Earth Mother!!

We are having braised steak and masH ready meal from M&S.
Reason being,i had some M&S vouchers. I kept looking at their clothes.
Never saw any that i really liked. Hence, using the vouchers for ready meals.

The lamb stew turned out well! The meat literally fell off the bones and I put a tiny touch of chilli in to give it a little bit of heat. I was going to mash the potatoes but ran out of time, so it was just boiled potatoes (from the allotment) and spring greens to go with it.

I haven't cooked anything like that for ages, so it was a nice change, and there's enough left over for Tuesday when I don't have time to cook.
