Plant, we had salmon as well tonight, but with a mixed salad. I've saved the left over chicken for tomorrow when I won't have time to cook a proper meal.

Hubby had chilli con carne with rice. I had beef stew and dumpling.
                They were actually quite nice.

                          I love fish pie Plant.

Last night our friends had done a chicken casserole in the slow cooker, with mash, broccoli and cauliflower. It was delicious!

Tonight we have friend coming for tea after work. We are having chicken, mushroom, red pepper, and spring onion cheesy enchiladas

Forgot to take something out of the freezer so it will have to be an omelette again or a salad with hard boiled eggs and ham. Really need to use some leeks and carrots before I shop tomorrow.

I have had Cod loin with new potatoes for tea ,
B had Tempura prawns so he's had to do everything separate in Tin foil trays so they can be put straight in bin and not in contact with anything of mine , he has to wash his own dishes too .
He doesn't eat them at home very often as you see its a right faff on if he does

Qwerty - I've tried the pork medallions from Sainsburys, and no matter how I cook them, they're dry and tasteless. We've given up on them now!

Tonight I did grilled lamb chops and a stir fry. It was quite tasty and the chops were very tender. When OH does the shopping I always say to get whatever meat and fish looks nice. Sometimes he chooses well, sometimes he doesn't. But he has now stopped getting pork medallions or pork chops, thank goodness!

Oma - I hope B enjoyed the Tempura prawns after all that hard work to keep you safe.

Plant - I know you've been busy today but add some onions and potatoes to the leeks and carrots and make soup. You can always freeze it if you don't want it straight away.

I love glancing through this thread when I'm stuck for ideas!
