          Thanks Ladies
          I'm very happy about it!
It may be only a ring, but means a lot to me. I can picture it on my dads hand when I look at it, as he wore it all the time. I also wore it to most of my recent hospital appointments for luck!

Gem, I'm so relieved and pleased for you.

Have you got a ring stand? I got one a couple of years ago and it sits on my dressing table. It's so easy to pop a ring on to it, you don't even think about putting it on the dressing table top or with other jewellery. I got mine from a little pottery when we were in the USA, and it's just perfect.

Brilliant news Gem. I have my dad's ring too. The back was so worn & thin (about to snap) & didn't fit any of my fingers. I got my favourite jeweller in Scotland, to combine it with a small, gold Celtic cross to go on a chain around my neck. I never take it off (only for Xrays etc) & feel as tho' I have part of Dad with me every day. Love & miss him so much. I'm really pleased you found it. I can imagine how much it means to you.

So pleased you found the ring Gem. I can imagine how devastated you would have been, if it hadn't been found.
