I seems like a slow journey for the poor girl Oma.
It does also sound as though she is moving forward however which is the right direction.

Gosh your poor family do go through it. Good job they make them tough up North.
I really wish her well, and a good strong recovery. xx

She has a infection in the wound today but they have put her on a Antibiotic drip and put a drain in , spoke to her and she said shes laughed and cried today and doesn't know how shes supposed to act , I told her there is no right or wrong way to act she must do what makes her feel better , if she needs a good cry go ahead and cry and don't feel she has to be brave all the time , shes a strong woman and has a sense of humour so I'm sure she will be fine

Poor girl. No wonder she has a mix up of feelings. Sending wishes for a speedy recovery.

Yesterday they had to open my niece's wound up again , it keeps bursting open and they have been packing it but that's not working , Surgeon decided to fully open it again clean it and put different dressings on , her actual bowel and Stoma are working well its the wound causing so much trouble .
The good news is her Biopsy's show it wasn't caused by Cancer but Diverticulitis . This is a worry as my Brother has this and Crones disease too , If these dressings work they aim to have her home on Monday with a nurse going each day to manage wound .

I'm sorry to hear of another setback for your niece Oma. Hopefully now things will improve and she'll be able to get home.At least it's good to know she doesn't have cancer though I know Diverticulitis is also serious. My DS2 has Crohn's and I know it's not fun.

Thank you ladies , like all illnesses its one step forward two back , they hoped to get her home today but when they had her walking up and down stairs the wound just burst open at the top along with the other openings obviously they wouldn't let her home when that happens , Fingers crossed for Monday xx
