Well then £50 a month is cheap then for ironing, if she has to iron all that bedding as well. I detest ironing bedding although I do, its like wrestling a tiger.

I have a calendar in my utility it has everything on mostly hospital appointments , it has a little white board on too so anything else I need to remember gets put on there .I find ironing bedding a chore that must be done but as our bed is Super king size they became to much for me to iron and put on the quilt itself weighed a ton so we now have two single duvets and covers much easier and no fighting over who has the most duvet , I don't need it I'm too hot so kept throwing it over hubby's side he said I was trying to suffocate him 😀Im not fat just 6ft too small

Thats a good idea Oma, we need to buy new bed again. You know we went to single divans because of hubs fidgets, well after I was so poorly last winter with my breathing he now won't let us sleep apart. Poor chap thought I was on my last legs. So twin beds together = super king size bedding which exhausts me to iron and change."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

OH does all the finance (he was a financial adviser in his professional life), most of the gardening, cars, putting out the bins. We both light the woodburners empty the ash but he brings in the logs coz they are too heavy for me. I do most of the housework although he is happy to hoover and tidy or wash up things that won't go in the dishwaher. I always do the ironing and washing and load and empty the dishwasher, remember birthdays etc and usually sort out our social life. I always change the bedding, towels etc. and as you know he does the clocks!Grandmothers are just antique little girls - author unknown

Avo if I didn't change the towels they would never get changed , I don't think men think about them things 😊 He does the clocks I hate if we have a power cut as all the clocks have to be reset , the bedroom clocks have back up batteries but we never get around to putting them in 😲😊Im not fat just 6ft too small

I don't think we have any clocks except maybe on the new cooker. We have clocks on the laptops and iPads but they do themselves although I must admit the one in my car frequently spends six months of the year either one hour early or one hour late as I cannot remember how to change it. I have three watches which I rotate according to what I am wearing and one of them automatically updates. Both of husbands watches automatically update. We don't have any big clocks. We use mobiles (which update themselves) for alarms. I cannot bear seeing lights next to the bed. I am not a great sleeper, I wake a lot, and having lights next to the bed does not help.
