I'm not fussed about a roast dinner, and always feel it's a lot of work, but I do one if the family is coming, but then we tend to eat mid afternoon - 3pm-ish. Normally, just for the two of us I cook much like the ret of the week and we eat in the evening.

We quite often eat around 3ish depending on OHs jobs and whether family are visiting.

We tried to go out for Sunday lunch yesterday, a nice end to our week in Cornwall. The first pub in a village a few miles from home was packed, and all tables booked. We then drove to another closer to home. As most of you know I then discovered my purse was missing so we abandoned all plans for lunch!

I told OH I want us to go out for a nice Sunday lunch once a month. (Some places serve mediocre ones, so we will go where they serve a good one ) I will invite any local friends to join us, and if no one is free we will go alone
