That sounds like a lovely gift for your DS2 Daisy. Maybe you’ll get to enjoy a lovely meal, cooked by him using the delicious herbs. He he

We're just hoping at least some of the herbs survive long enough to make it into the kitchen.

DS2 had an interesting present from his older brother - a radio-controlled model car. It was a real stroll down memory lane for them both - they loved their RC cars when they were young. They and their dad spent a good hour or so talking cars this afternoon. Socially distanced in the garden - it looked a bit like a scene from Top Gear.

SIL and his best friend are always getting radio controlled cars for presents, often in kit form. It keeps them amused for hours!

Gem, yes this is in kit form, and DS2 can't wait to get started on the build! Fortunately GD1 is also interested, so she will enjoy being involved as well.
