    Gem, you gave your mum the loveliest of birthdays, and the staff at the restaurant are probably hoping if they make it to 90 they will be as well loved.

    I'm so glad everything went well - you put a lot of work into organising it for her. I hope she's not too tired today and is thinking about all the nice things that happened. xx

      Thanks everyone

      She said last night she felt as though she had been on a rollercoaster! A couple of pre birthday visits from friends and neighbours, flowers arriving, the afternoon out.
      Exciting but tiring when you are 90.
      It is unfortunate that she has to go out for blood taking today, but I had to get that done and her review and flu jab before I go away. I suspect she will want to be taken straight home afterwards,and hopefully she will have a few peaceful days before her review on Monday.
