Both my Grandpa's were dead when I was born, but my Paternal Nanny had remarried to my 'Grandpa' and he was always just that, Grandpa and I loved him dearly. Nanny and Grandpa lived by the sea and I would spend 6 weeks summer holiday with them and 3 weeks at Easter and every six weeks we would go a a family and spend the weekend with them. The other Nanny was much older, and had many more grandchildren I was the youngest and we would visit every Saturday. She was lovely too. I have great memories of my grandparents.
