Clover - If we lived nearer my OH would be saying leave it until he's better and he and his wood turning friends would come and take it away!!! I do hope G is better soon - he must be very fed up. xx

OH eventually got up, but is still feeling very weak and starts coughing as soon as he moves. He said the bed was too uncomfortable to stay there - we do need a new mattress! He hasn't got any appetite, but I made vegetable soup for lunch and then a mushroom and tomato omelette with a crispy salad and crispy bacon bits. It's hard to get him to drink enough - he doesn't want tea because it doesn't taste 'right' so I've been following him round with a glass of water!

GM - I hope you start to feel better soon. xx

All these poor hubbies feeling unwell I hope they are feeling better to-day,my hubby has had the bug for 2 weeks now we thought he had beaten it but it came back with a vengence, men seem to be suffering more than ladies for some reason.
(tongue in cheek idea) Lets move them into a virtual manshed all together for total isolation and we could take turns looking after them,at least they could all moan together lol.

Touch wood O H seems to be a bit better. Not counting chickens as I’ve heard of a few relapses.

Been thinking the only place OH had been to pick up the bug was at the hospital last week when I went for my check-up

Lot of poorly Hubby's, add mine to the list but miraculously his had just vanished, he is away fishing with 3 friends someone dropped out, so he stepped in, a couple of coughs on his way out the door, I hope he doesn't make himself bad again he was on the mend...

Pleased your OH's are picking up too, it does seem to be hard to shake off when they have it.....manshed it quite a good idea Glamm...

Glamm - I like the man-shed idea, but they might take quite a lot of looking after! Perhaps they should all go fishing with Pearl's OH - the fresh air will do them good, I'm sure.

Clover - I think anywhere crowded is a risk, so it could have been the hospital.

OH had a meeting this afternoon - but everyone came here so he didn't have to go out in the cold. They've just left, and OH is looking really tired and worn out.

Qwerty - perhaps the thyroid problem has been making him feel low, so hopefully getting a diagnosis and some treatment might help in all sorts of ways. Fingers crossed for his appointment next week. xx

Hoping all poorly OH's are soon better. Pearl your post made me smile. My OH has been left with a bad cough after his poorly Christmas. When I ask if he's ok he starts with a cough. Thank goodness they can't read our minds.😂

My OH is still poorly. Conversation is limited to in between bouts of coughing. He was worn out by a friend calling round unexpectedly this morning - the effort of making conversation was too much, which is so unlike my chatterbox OH. I don't think the friend read the situation very well as he stayed for over 2 hours.
