So infuriating! Really hard when you psych yourself up for an operation. This is something that patients should be advised of very early on! Hopefully your nurse can come up with some helpful advice. Xx

Noooooo! I've just come across this Oma. I'm really sorry to hear this. Like everyone else I hope the nurse can help in some way.

Oma - I wouldn't have thought about what you'd eaten at the week-end would have such bad repercussions for you. We all tucked in and enjoyed our meals didn't we! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that's all it was and when you see the nurse on Friday your blood sugar will be OK. Perhaps it's as well you didn't have that martini!!! xx"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Oma, I know you're really fed up with being in pain, but at least they are working to control your blood sugar levels. I hope the stronger meds does the job and doesn't have any side effects. xxx"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "
