Sum1, to be honest, it sounds like a living hell. Despite what you say, I think you are very stoic and it's good to focus on the future and rehab in whatever form that takes.

I'm sure night time must be the worst though, and I know from many years of painful back problems, that the wee small hours can drag. Your injuries are so much worse. Trying to be positive, have you thought about setting yourself a mental task, such as learning favourite poems off by heart? They are then in your head to take your mind off reality when reality is too hard to bear.
