Oma - poor B. That is my OH's nightmare - an accident with a band saw (matched only by the horror of an accident with a chain saw!) That sounds very painful - and awful that it didn't seem worth going to hospital because you know you'd be waiting for hours on end. I hope it heal up well - it's a good job you're not squeamish though, Nurse Oma!
But that's how I feel about my arm - the hassle and stress of trying to get any help for it just doesn't seem worth it.
GD hasn't been back to school yet. Her arm's in a sling, and trying to manage a large school bag plus all the stuff they seem to need for school these days - she couldn't manage with only one hand. Fortunately it's her right arm (she's left-handed), but she wouldn't be able to manage everything. I think she's hoping to go back on Monday, though.
